Adelaide musician Visnja has extensive experience in aged care and retirement settings, offering not only wonderful songs but friendly chatter, audience participation and good vibes for residents and staff alike.  She has performed at the following communities:

Visnja’s music also formed part of a study conducted by Flinders University Harmony in the Bush which investigated the therapeutic effects of music in residential care settings.  She obtained a local council grant in Port Douglas for a program called 'Harp Therapy' within the setting of Mossman Community Hospital.

MUSIC OPTIONS

Does your music space have a grand or baby grand piano?

That would be perfect!  Otherwise Visnja prefers to perform on an electric keyboard which enables her to engage with the audience face to face. Short upright pianos are good so long as they don’t block the performer’s face. Tall upright pianos are not suitable - performer has their back to audience or performer’s face is blocked or side-on which is not so effective for singers. 

Electric Piano Options – supplied by you or Visnja can bring hers.

Facilities that can supply in-house electric keyboards set up prior to performance can receive a discounted rate, as this reduces set up time. Otherwise Visnja can bring her own electric keyboard and stand.

Or Visnja singing with her Celtic harp for something special!

This can be an occasional treat, suitable for popular and folk songs that don’t have too many ‘black notes’ and jazzy chords.  The harp has a magical, soothing sound that complements Visnja’s singing and is a beautiful instrument to behold.
