Visnja is an Australian singer, multi instrumentalist and composer of eclectic music which reflects her classical training, cultural background and hopes for a better world. She weaves poetic lyrics, world music, classical and contemporary influences into her repertoire.
As well as her original award winning songs, Visnja interprets classic songs such as Leonard Cohen’s Halleluljah, and the traditional Irish air She Moved Through the Fair. She explores themes surrounding nature, love, travel, dreams and navigating the modern world. Sometimes wry, sometimes wistful, her stories and ethereal vocals draw listeners into faraway places and their innermost feelings. Visnja has performed on top rating Australian television events, fashion designers’ shows and before Royalty. Her music features in internationally touring shows, as well as several short films.
